- Cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 2A (melanoma, p16, inhibits CDK4). Cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 2A interacts strongly with cdk4 and cdk6. It belongs to the cdkn2 family of cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors, and plays role in cyclins and cell cycle regulation.
