Signal Transduction

Signal transduction is the process by which signals are transmitted throughout a cell via a cascading network of biochemical reactions. Signal transduction molecules include subclasses of protein kinases, phosphatases, and G proteins. The results of a signal transduction cascade will often activate or suppress transcription factors to regulate gene expression. Signal transduction pathways are central to a variety of biological processes and a large number of diseases are related to their deregulation. ProSci's large antibody catalog will ensure that researchers have the tools necessary for a better understanding of signal transduction molecules.
