Marketing/Sales Associate
A local biotechnology company specializing in high end research products is looking for a full-time Marketing/Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, energetic, flexible, self-starter with strong communication skills and attention to detail. We are looking for someone who wants long term employment.
Responsibilities:
Partnering with product development scientific teams to develop product business segments including distribution and direct sales channels.
Writing scientific content for sales enablement tools such as blogs, videos, application notes, support material and other relevant marcom.
Working with marketing team to create sales enablement tools.
Benchmarking antibody research reagent market and custom antibody services to establish a plan for effectively positioning the company in these markets globally.
Forming a deep understanding of customer buying behavior, preferences, trends, selling activities and distribution methods for reaching the target market and customer segments.
Tracking and analyzing marketing metrics, adjusting marcom as needed to increase brand awareness and sales.
Managing relationships with third party platform catalog listings and applicable contractors.
Assisting Business Development Director with sales activities.
Identifying and contacting potential customers.
Following up with current customers.
Establishing and maintaining relationships with purchasing departments across the USA.
Providing exceptional care to customers over the phone and via email.
Tracking and driving opportunities through closing.
Answering customer questions and generating quotations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences preferred.
Working knowledge of research reagents market, antibodies a plus.
Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
Strong knowledge of marketing and business development practices.
Excellent communication skills (technical written and oral) and fluency in English.
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office.
