Primary Antibodies
TAF1A Antibody
Background
Initiation of transcription by RNA polymerase I requires the formation of a complex composed of the TATA-binding protein (TBP) and three TBP-associated factors (TAFs) specific for RNA polymerase I. This complex, also known as SL1, binds to the core promoter of ribosomal RNA genes to position the polymerase properly and acts as a channel for regulatory signals. This gene encodes the smallest SL1-specific TAF. Two transcripts encoding different isoforms have been identified.
Additional Names
TAF1A
Purification
Antibody is purified by Protein A/G affinity chromatography method.
Clonality / Clone
This is a polyclonal antibody.
Host
TAF1A antibody was raised in rabbit.
Please use anti-rabbit secondary antibodies.
Immunogen
Antibody produced in rabbits immunized with a synthetic peptide corresponding a region of human TAF1A.
Application
TAF1A antibody can be used for detection of TAF1A by ELISA at 1:15000. TAF1A antibody can be used for detection of TAF1A by western blot at 1 μg/ml, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
