Primary Antibodies
STELLAR Antibody
Background
STELLAR Antibody.
Additional Names
STELLAR, germ and embryonic stem cell enriched protein STELLA, developmental pluripotency associated 3 pseudogene, stella-like, STELLA;
Source
STELLAR antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide of STELLAR.
Purification
STELLAR antibody was purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Clonality / Clone
This is a polyclonal antibody.
Host
STELLAR antibody was raised in goat.
Please use anti-goat secondary antibodies.
Application
Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1:64,000. Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 26kDa band in human ovary and placenta lysates after 0.1μg/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 17.9kDa according to NP_954980.1. The 26kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
