Reactivity
This antibody recognizes full-length human RbAp48 (48 kD) and RbAp46 (46 kD), nuclear proteins first identified by their ability to interact with the C-terminus of retinoblastoma protein (Rb). The amino acid sequences of RbAp48 and RbAp46 are highly homologous Both Rb Ap48 and RbAp46 interact with human histone deacetlyase Hd1 and can bind to histone H4.
Immunogen
GST fusion protein containing the complete coding region (aa 1-425) of RbAp48 expressed in E. coli.

Storage
RbAp48 monoclonal antibody can be stored at 4˚C, stable for one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
