Lysates
Diagnosis: Pulmonary embolism Lysates
Pulmonary embolism lysates were generated from tissue samples which have been diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism. ProSci lysates are ready-to-use and available for proteomics research applications including electrophoresis, western blot, immunoprecipitation, enzymatic activity analysis, protein-protein interaction analysis, and tissue specific expression identification. Please check product documentation to see recommended and tested applications for each pulmonary embolism lysate.
Pulmonary embolism occurs in the lungs as a result of an artery blockage. This blockage is most commonly caused by a venous thrombus (blood clot), but can also be caused by bone, fat, air, amniotic fluid, or clumped tumor cells. This blockage results in shortness of breath, rapid breathing, chest pain, cough (sometimes coughing up blood) and in rare cases increased heart rate, low blood pressure, shock, loss of consciousness and death.
