Primary Antibodies
KALRN Antibody
Background
KALRN Antibody. This antibody is expected to recognize reported isoforms NP_001019831.2 and NP_003938.1.
Additional Names
KALRN, kalirin, RhoGEF kinase, DUET, FLJ16443, HAPIP, TRAD, duo, huntingtin-associated protein interacting protein (duo), serine/threonine kinase with Dbl- and pleckstrin homology domains
Source
KALRN antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide of KALRN.
Purification
KALRN antibody was purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Clonality / Clone
This is a polyclonal antibody.
Host
KALRN antibody was raised in goat.
Please use anti-goat secondary antibodies.
Application
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:64000. Preliminary experiments gave an approx 49kDa band in Human, Mouse and Rat Brain lysates after 0.3μg/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 340kDa according to NP_001019831.2 and of 192kDa according to NP_003938.1. The 49kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
