Primary Antibodies
IGF-I Antibody
Background
IGF-I Biotin Conjugated Antibody
Source
Produced from sera of goats pre-immunized with highly pure (>98%) recombinant mIGF-I (murine IGF-I).
Conjugate
Biotin
Purification
Anti-mIGF-I specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.
Clonality / Clone
This is a polyclonal antibody.
Host
IGF-I antibody was raised in goat.
Please use goat secondary antibodies.
Preparation
Lyophilized from sterile-filtered PBS solution.
Application
ELISA:
To detect mIGF-I by direct ELISA (using 100 μl/well antibody solution) this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.15 - 0.30 μg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2 ng/well of recombinant mIGF-I.
Western Blot:
To detect mIGF-I by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 μg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant mIGF-I is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Tested Application
E, WB
Storage
IGF-I lyophilized antibody is stable for at least 6 months when kept at -20˚C. The biotinylated antibody should be reconstituted to a concentration of 0.1 - 1.0 mg/ml with sterile PBS solution containing 0.1% BSA. This solution can be stored at 4˚C for at least one month without detectable loss of activity. Frozen aliquots of this solution are stable for at least 6 months when kept at -20˚C. Avoid more than one freeze-thaw cycle.
