Description
HeLa Cell Slide
|
Source
human cervix adenocarcinoma
Preparation
Human HeLa S3 cells were cultured in Ham's F12K medium and harvested at the log phase of growth. The Hela cells were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde and arrayed on a 12-well (5 mm) adhesive coated slide, with each well’s surface specifically treated to enhance cellular attachment and to minimize background staining. Each well was loaded with approximately 7.5 x 103 Hela cells. A follow-up heat dehydration process was done to ensure the attachment of Helacells and the stability of cellular proteins.
Application
Hela cell slide is provided for immunocytochemical analysis of protein and protein-protein interaction. Before applying immunocytochemistry, 0.1% Triton X-100 pretreatment for 1 minute at room temperature is highly suggested. Optimal conditions should be determined by the end user.
