Primary Antibodies
HAP1 Antibody
Background
HAP1 Antibody.
Additional Names
Hap1, huntingtin-associated protein 1, RP23-392I3.11, HAP-1, MGC31449
Source
HAP1 antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide near the C-terminus of HAP1.
Purification
HAP1 antibody was purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Clonality / Clone
This is a polyclonal antibody.
Host
HAP1 antibody was raised in goat.
Please use anti-goat secondary antibodies.
Application
Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1:32,000. Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 110kDa band in mouse and rat brain lysates after 0.5μg/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 66.8kDa according to NP_034534.1. The 110kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
