Primary Antibodies
EGR1 Antibody
Background
Early Growth Response Protein 1 (EGR1, Krox-24 protein, nerve growth factor-induced protein A, Transcription factor ETR103, Zinc finger protein 225) belongs to the EGR family of C2H2-type zinc-finger proteins. It is a nuclear protein and functions as a transcriptional regulator. The products of target genes it activates are required for differentitation and mitogenesis. Studies suggest this is a cancer suppresor gene.

Description
Left: Western blot analysis of EGR1 in Jurkat cell lysate using anti-EGR1.
|
Purification
Rabbit IgG is purified by peptide affinity chromatography method.
Clonality / Clone
This is a polyclonal antibody.
Host
EGR1 antibody was raised in rabbit.
Please use anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibodies.
Immunogen
EGR1 antibody was produced in rabbits immunized with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region of human EGR1.
Application
EGR1 antibody can be used for Western blot at a suggested dilution of 1.0-5.0 ug/ml in 5% skim milk / PBS buffer, and HRP conjugated anti Rabbit IgG should be diluted in 1: 50,000 - 100,037 as secondary antibody. The protein size is 543 amino acids.
