Reactivity
This antibody recognizes human cyclin E1, a protein (approx. 50 kD) expressed in elevated levels in human tumor cells. Cyclin E1 controls the initiation of DNA synthesis by activating cdk2, and i expression of cyclin E1 is upregulated by the E7 oncoprotein.

Peptide corresponding to amino acids 43-52 of cyclin E1.

Storage
Cyclin E1 antibody can be stored at 4˚C, stable for one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
