Control Antibodies: Control Immunoglobulin Antibodies
Control immunoglobulin antibodies are obtained from animals which have not been immunized with any specific antigen. These control antibodies are used in parallel with either polyclonal antibodies or monoclonal antibodies and are used in many immunoassays including western blot, immunoblot, immunohistochemistry (IHC), and ELISA.
ProSci has control immunoglobulin antibodies purified from mouse, chicken, goat, and rabbit serum. All of the control antibodies are purified using ion exchange chromatography, resulting in the highest quality control immunoglobulin antibodies. These control antibodies should be used at the same concentration as the experimental monoclonal antibody or polyclonal antibody.
