Source
Alpha2-antiplasmin antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide of Alpha2-antiplasmin.
Purification
Alpha2-antiplasmin antibody was purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Clonality / Clone
This is a polyclonal antibody.
Host
Alpha2-antiplasmin antibody was raised in goat.
Please use anti-goat secondary antibodies.
Application
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:16000. Western Blot: Approx. 70kDa band observed in Human Duodenum and Ileum lysates (calculated MW of 54.6kDa according to NP_000925.2). The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings in literature with different antibodies (Lee et al, Blood. 2004 May 15;103(10):3783-8.; PMID: 14751930). Recommended concentration: 0.3-1μg/ml. An additional band of unknown identity was also consistently observed at 26kDa. This band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunising peptide. Immunohistochemistry: In paraffin embedded Human Liver shows potty cytoplasm staining in hepatocytes. Recommended concentration, 3-5μg/ml.
