Primary Antibodies
APPD Antibody
Background
APPD (Apoptosis-inducing protein D; phafin 1) is predicted through gene annotation and contains pleckstrin homology domain. It may binds to two Zn++ ions through its FYVE zinc finger domain. Biological function of this protein has not been clearly mapped yet.
|
Description
Left: Western blot analysis of APPD expression in HepG2(A), Raji (B),293T(C) cell lysates using anti-APPD.
|
Purification
Rabbit IgG is purified by Protein A/G affinity chromatography method.
Clonality / Clone
This is a polyclonal antibody.
Host
APPD antibody was raised in rabbit.
Please use anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibodies.
Immunogen
APPD antibody was produced in rabbits immunized with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region of human PLEKHF1.
Application
APPD antibody can be used for Western blot at a suggested dilution of 1 μg/ml in 5% skim milk / PBS buffer, and HRP conjugated anti Rabbit IgG should be diluted in 1: 50,000 - 100,000 as secondary antibody. The protein size is 279 amino acids.
Tested Application
WB
Buffer
Antibody is supplied in PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. Product may ship lyophilized. To reconstitute add 100μl of distilled water making the final concentration 1 mg/ml.
