Primary Antibodies

APOC1 Antibody

Background

APOC1 Antibody.

Additional Names

APOC1, apolipoprotein C-I

APOC1 Antibody

Description

Left: Immunohistochemistry staining of APOC1 in paraffin embedded human liver using APOC1 antibody at 3.8μg/mL.

Source

APOC1 antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide of APOC1.

Purification

APOC1 antibody was purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.

Clonality / Clone

This is a polyclonal antibody.

Host

APOC1 antibody was raised in goat.

Please use anti-goat secondary antibodies.

Application

Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:8000. Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave bands at 30kDa and 37kDa band in Human Liver lysates after 0.5 μg/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 9.3kDa according to NP_001636.1. The detected bands were successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. Immunohistochemistry: In paraffin embedded Human Liver shows spotty staining in the cytoplasm of hepatocytes. Recommended concentration, 3-5μg/ml.

Tested Application

E, IHC

Buffer

APOC1 antibody is supplied as 0.1mg of purified antibody, 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.
