Primary Antibodies

ADH7 Antibody

Background

ADH7 Antibody.

Additional Names

ADH7, alcohol dehydrogenase 7 (class IV), mu or sigma polypeptide, ADH-4, alcohol dehydrogenase-7, class IV alcohol dehydrogenase 7 mu or sigma subunit, gastric alcohol dehydrogenase.

Source

ADH7 antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide of ADH7.

Purification

ADH7 antibody was purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.

Clonality / Clone

This is a polyclonal antibody.

Host

ADH7 antibody was raised in goat.

Please use anti-goat secondary antibodies.

Application

Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1:32,000. Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 26kDa band in lysates of human duodenum and liver and of rat stomach after 0.2μg/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 41.5kDa according to NP_000664.2. The 26kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
