Antigen Design Assistance
ProSci offers free antigen design assistance for peptide antigens. If you can provide us with the sequence (or protein accession
number) our scientists will analyze your protein and select the regions which offer the best chance of eliciting an immune response.
We base our sequence analysis on several factors:
- Structural
- Predicted number of turns
- Predicted hydrophilicity
- Predicated antigenicity
- Sequence
- Conjugation-method constraints
- Amino acid composition
- Presence of potential post-translational modification
If you choose to use a sequence we have designed or approved for one of our antibody production packages utilizing
peptide synthesis (polyclonal packages 2, 3, 4, and
custom monoclonal antibody development) we will guarantee the immune response
against the peptide antigen. If no titer is observed, ProSci will re-immunize a new set of animals. If titer against the antigen is
still not present, ProSci will re-evaluate the protein of interest and synthesis a new peptide based upon our evaluations. ProSci
will continue to work on your project until a successful immune response is observed.

with any applicable sequence information, and email it to abservices@prosci-inc.com.
This will allow us to design peptide sequences based on your specific homology or application constraints.
Alternatively, if you simply need full-sequence suggestions you can e-mail your full length protein sequence(s) to
abservices@prosci-inc.com and a ProSci representative will respond with our selections
in 2 to 3 working days.
