Background

Aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases catalyze the aminoacylation of tRNA by their cognate amino acid. Because of their central role in linking amino acids with nucleotide triplets contained in tRNAs, aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases are thought to be among the first proteins that appeared in evolution. VARS belongs to class-I aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase family and is located in the class III region of the major histocompatibility complex.Aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases catalyze the aminoacylation of tRNA by their cognate amino acid. Antibody is lyophilized in PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. Add 50 μl of distilled water. Final antibody concentration is 1 mg/ml.
Storage
For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚C. For longer periods of storage, store VARS antibody at -20˚C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
