USDA Certification: Products of animal origin are derived from starting materials of North American origin. Collection was performed in United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) inspected facilities and all materials have been inspected and certified to be free of disease and suitable for exportation.

During shipment, small volumes of Biotin Conjugated Affinity Purified anti-Mouse IgG will occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial. For products with volumes of 200 μL or less, we recommend gently tapping the vial on a hard surface or briefly centrifuging the vial in a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container's cap.

Conjugate
Biotinamidocaproate N-Hydroxysuccinimide Ester (BAC)
Purification
Biotin Conjugated Affinity Purified anti-Mouse IgG was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Mouse IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-biotin, anti-Goat Serum, Mouse IgG and Mouse Serum. No reaction was observed against Human Serum Proteins. Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1.0% cross reactivity against human IgG.
Host
Goat
Immunogen
Mouse IgG, whole molecule
Preparation
PHYSICAL STATE: Lyophilized

ANTIBODY CONCENTRATION: 2.0 mg/ml (by UV absorbance at 280 nm)
Application
Biotin Conjugated Affinity Purified anti-Mouse IgG is suitable for immunoblotting, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, immunomicroscopy as well as other antibody based assay using streptavidin or avidin conjugates requiring lot-to-lot consistency. This product has been assayed against 1.0 ug of Mouse IgG in a standard capture ELISA using Peroxidase Conjugated Streptavidin #S000-03 and ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiozoline-6-sulfonic acid]) code # ABTS-100 as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:50,000 to 1:200,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product. (Optimal dilution should be determined by user).
