This is a polyclonal antibody.Preparation
A sterile filtered antibody solution (1 mg/mL) was lyophilized from 0.5X PBS pH 7.2.Source
Produced from sera of rabbits pre-immunized with highly pure (>98%) recombinant hAPRIL (human APRIL).Host
APRIL antibody was raised in rabbit. Please use rabbit secondary antibodies.
Application
ELISA:To detect hAPRIL by direct ELISA (using 100 μl/well antibody solution) a concentration of at least 0.5μg/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hAPRIL.
Western Blot:
To detect hAPRIL by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 μg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hAPRIL is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Tested Application
E, WBStorage
APRIL lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20˚C. Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 0.1 - 1.0 mg/ml. The antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-4˚C when reconstituted.Positive Control
